What is your guarantee/returns policy?
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact me before sending back the items in question. We will tell you how to return items and give you a returned item number so we can track your exchange or credit. Please note we do not accept any items returned to us if they do not have a returned item number.
What are your delivery charges?
It depends how you prefer to have your painting shipped, lets work out the details when you choose your painting.
How long does delivery take?
All paintings are in stock if they are shown on our website. Delivery targets are five working days within New Zealand, within ten days anywhere in the world. In practice most prints are delivered within 3-4 days to addresses in NZ. We also offer overnight (including Saturday) delivery within New Zealand - great if you have left buying that present to the last minute!
What size are the prints and what exactly do the dimensions refer to?
Print size and lots of other information on any particular painting is viewed on the page. All dimensions are image size (the coloured surface of the painting excluding in millimetres unless otherwise stated.
What quality are the paintings?
All of my work is original and sold as is. Your rights are further protected by our money back guarantee and New Zealand's world leading consumer protection legislation, the Consumer Guarantees Act.
How will my order be packed?
Salt Gallery guarantee that your fine art prints and posters will reach you in perfect condition. All fine paintings are carefully packed in and all orders are sent through New Zealand Post's CourierPost or Parcel Post network or by Air Mail.
How does your gift service work?
Paintings are the perfect gift for any occasion. We include a personal message if you wish and will giftwrap at a small extra cost. Add the painting name you want to send as a gift to your message and you let us know the recipient's details.
How do I unpack and store my painting?
Fine art paintings should be hung on the wall and enjoyed but if that is not an option they should be stored flat if possible.

Are the colours of the paintings exactly the same as I can see on-screen?
Not exactly the same - all monitors are different. But the paintings will look better than they do on screen as screen images are of a very low resolution.
